About

As a student of the arts Kal has always pursued opportunities that offer creative freedom. Kal has studied acting at several schools including The Juilliard School and T. Shreiber Studio. He is also a graduate of The School of Visual arts in NY. In 2005 Kal landed the role of Shaheed in the feature film "Khel Shuru" (the game is on). It was his debut as a lead actor and art director. Kal also lived in Los Angeles  for three years learning the ins and outs of the business and gained valuable experience working on countless sets. 

 

In addition to starring roles on several feature films. He has had  recurring roles on ABC's Pan Am" starring Margot Robbie and Fox's hit show, "The Following" with Kevin Bacon.  He has co-starred on several other shows including “Orange is the New Black” and “Quantico” with Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Kal is also an avid Shakespeare fan and can be seen performing, scenes, plays, monologues and readings throughout New York. 

 

Kal practices mindful meditation and believes life's only limitations are the ones we make for ourselves. He is constantly learning new skills and growing. He recently finished his first feature film screenplay and working on his next! He wishes to thank his family and friends for supporting him on his creative journey.
