About

Kal has always pursued the arts as a space for creative freedom and fearless expression. He studied acting at The Juilliard School and T. Schreiber Studio, and is a graduate of School of Visual Arts in New York.

In 2005, Kal made his feature film debut as Shaheed in Khel Shuru (The Game Is On), serving as both lead actor and art director. He later spent three years in Los Angeles, gaining invaluable experience and learning the inner workings of the industry while working on countless sets.

Kal has starred in multiple feature films and held recurring roles on Pan Am (ABC), alongside Margot Robbie, and The Following (Fox) opposite Kevin Bacon. His additional television credits include Orange Is the New Black and Quantico with Priyanka Chopra Jonas. A devoted Shakespeare enthusiast, Kal regularly performs scenes, monologues, and readings throughout New York.

Committed to lifelong growth, Kal practices mindful meditation and believes that life’s only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. He recently completed his first feature-length screenplay and is currently developing his next. In 2025, his short film Play With Me, which he wrote and directed, debuted at several international film festivals. He remains deeply grateful to his family and friends for their unwavering support on his creative journey.
